On Friday, July 17, 2020, Wild Soul Weddings owner celebrated as Dan and Kate said I DO and became husband and wife!
These two made a tough decision to keep their original wedding date and have only their immediate families physically present, and are planning on having a big party next year.
One thing I’ve always loved about Dan and Kate is that they are true to themselves and their relationship, and have found so many beautiful ways to make their wedding planning process so special.
Last July, I photographed them on Lake Michigan because of how special the area Dan grew up in is to them. That was such a fun adventure for all of us, and we got some absolutely gorgeous photos!
Then, despite the small size of their wedding ceremony and small reception, there was still so many thoughtful moments.
I was only with the Keens for about 4 hours total, and it was all pure magic.
They had their first look at Next Page Books in the New Bohemia District of Cedar Rapids, and we walked around the District for photos before the ceremony. Then we ventured off to the National Czech and Slovak Museum to prepare for their small ceremony.
After the ceremony we took more photos, and went to Lion’s Bridge for a small dinner with some more family.
Take a peek at their wedding day highlights!
