On Monday, September 9, 2019, I was so honored to photograph and witness Wild Soul Weddings Associate photographer and one of my best friend’s elopement courthouse wedding!
Joe proposed in July during a family sunflower session they had:

All along, these two knew they wanted to have a courthouse wedding when the time was right, and Brittany wasn’t even expecting a proposal! So when Joe surprised her by proposing, the wedding planning began!
While a courthouse wedding doesn’t need a TON of planning, they did want to choose a fun date, and Brittany of course worked on finding a dress.
I think all of the details themselves out PERFECTLY. Joe and Brittany both looked amazing, the Justice of the Peace agreed to performing the 3 minute ceremony outside, and we did photos after!
The weather so magical, and it really worked out in our favor. The light at 9am isn’t always the best! But we woke up to a foggy, cloudy morning that provided an incredibly unique backdrop to their day.
Take a look at Brittany and Joe’s magical courthouse wedding in Eldora, Iowa!
So thankful to be a part of the Wilsons’ wedding day!
