When I got married, before I started Wild Soul Weddings, my husband and I had already been living together for 3 years. I thought that we had everything we needed, so we didn’t even bother creating a registry.
Almost 5 years later, that is a decision I regret making. When you’re young, you often choose cheap kitchen items because let’s face it, we don’t make a lot of money! I REALLY wish I would’ve registered for expensive, well-made, long-lasting items to replace the things we had when they finally pooped out.
Now that I’m almost 30 (YIKES!), I am a little wiser, a little more interested in the finer things in life, and definitely a better cook. Here is a list of items that you may not think you need, but definitely make life easier and/or more luxurious for you!
- Instapot

- Ninja Blender

- Kitchenaid mixer

- Hand mixer

- Ramekins

- Tongs with silicon tips

- Pots and pans

- Cast iron pans

- GOOD knives

- Meat thermometer

- Wooden spoons

- Measuring spoons/cups that you can hang (helps with organization!)

- Silicon oven mits

- Baking pans-muffin pans, cookie trays, pizza trays, pie plate

- Microwave safe bowls with lids (I love Tupperware, but they often have weird colors)

- Those expensive pillows you’ve been dying to have

- Memory foam topper

- Luxurious bath towels

- Well-made laundry baskets

Worried that these items won’t match your decor down the road when you need them (yes this is a real fear, y’all!)? Ask for classic black, white, gray, or beige…can’t go wrong!
I hope that this list helps you create a registry that will make life and love easier for you!
